There is a quiet wonder in the early seasons of motherhood. A raw, beautiful rhythm that passes by far too quickly. Between the feeding routines, the soft weight of a sleeping baby, and the awe of watching your own body grow and nurture new life, these days deserve to be held still.
Tucked into a hidden sandstone nook with ferns growing straight out of the wall and light spilling in from above, The Grotto is an intimate, still space.
This is a mini session built for exactly one thing: you and this baby, right now. Whether you're weeks from meeting them, deep in the newborn feeding fog, or just want twenty quiet minutes to mark this season before it moves on - this is for you.
No siblings, no rushing, no big production. Just a small, honest gallery of where you're really at.
The Details
When: Thursday, 15th October from 10am
(a peaceful escape while older children are at school or daycare)
Where: An intimate indoor grotto in Wentworth Falls
Duration: 20 relaxed, quiet minutes
Who: Expectant mothers, or mothers with their babies (focused on skin-to-skin snuggles and tender breast or bottle feeding moments)

To Join: A $100 deposit secures your spot, with the balance due the week of the shoot.

Soft, earthy, neutral tones work best in this space. Think creams, browns, sage, dusty pinks. Avoid bright or neon colours, as the space shoots warm and bold colours can throw an unwanted colour cast. Simple, textured fabrics (knits, linen) tend to photograph beautifully here. Happy to chat through outfit ideas once you've booked.

That's not a disruption, it's part of the session. If baby needs a feed, a cuddle, or a minute to settle, we just go with it. Twenty minutes is enough time to work around baby's rhythm without feeling rushed.

This particular space is very small and works best as a quiet, one-on-one session between you and this baby. For that reason, older children aren't included in The Grotto Sessions. The sessions run on a weekday, so it's a lovely excuse for a bit of one-on-one time while they're at school.

The space is tiny, so partners are welcome to come along but won't be part of the images. This session is about you and this baby.

Yes, the grotto is sheltered from the elements, so sessions go ahead rain or shine.

You'll receive a full gallery of 30 images to view, and select 8 for your final gallery. If you fall in love with more than 8, you can upgrade to the full 30-image gallery for an additional $150.

There are only 4 spots for 15th October, however if there's enough interest, a second date (Thursday 22nd October) will open. Join the mailing list to be notified first.

Any stage works. From late pregnancy through the early months. If you're not sure whether it's the right timing for you, message me and we can chat it through.
Terms & Conditions
Payment of your booking deposit indicates agreement to the following terms:
Securing Your Spot: A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to book your session. The remaining balance is due three days prior to our shoot date.
The Gallery: Following our session, you will receive a beautiful, personalized online gallery to view, download, and share your memories. Your session includes 8 high-resolution digital images of your choice, with the option to upgrade to your full gallery for an additional $150.
Capacity: Due to the nature of the venue, these sessions are designed to celebrate mums and their babies. Maternity or with their baby.
Cancellations: Because these sessions are limited to just four spots, all cancellations will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
