Aside from the absolutely breathtaking scenery, the Blue Mountains is home to some incredible and unique shopping and dining experiences. This is a list of some of my fave places to visit around the Mountains.
The Mountains Vintage Trail
The Mountains have some of the most epic vintage and antique shops around, and vintage shopping is one of my all-time favourite things to do. So grab a coffee, pop on your comfy shoes and make a day of it. Here's my trail from the lower mountains all the way up to Blackheath.
Tin Monkey Vintage, Blaxland
Your first stop on the way up. A great place to start warming up your treasure-hunting eyes.
Pony and the Gypsy, Springwood
This one's my local, and I love popping in here every time I’m in town. It's loaded with treasures and very affordable, which is a dangerous combination!
Mid Mountains Vintage, Woodford
My favourite of them all. Two levels of beautiful, quirky and interesting pieces, and lots of Mid Century items, which is my absolute fave. There's also a World Burger right next door, so lunch is sorted.
Hazelbrook Cottage Antiques, Hazelbrook
A cottage full of antiques is exactly as lovely as it sounds. Take your time and look in every corner.
Memento Vintage & Antiques, Katoomba
The first of four Katoomba stops, so you're in for a big afternoon.
Katoomba Vintage Emporium, Katoomba
Set in the old post office, and this place is cool! Even if you're not buying, it's worth a wander just for the building.
The SWAG Vintage, Katoomba
Some epic vintage clothing! Another one to add to your Katoomba loop.
Odd Mountains Oddities, Katoomba
Not your typical vintage shop. Meredith sells some of the most unique pieces you'll find anywhere in the Mountains.
Victory Theatre Antique Centre, Blackheath
Finish the trail in Blackheath with plenty of dealers under one roof. Save some room in the car!
Trail tips: Opening days and hours vary from shop to shop, so check before you go. Bring some cash and a tote bag, and leave space in the boot.
For the Sweet Tooth
Dolly’s Donuts, Glenbrook
Not only is Dolly’s Donuts a super cute place to dine in, they offer some of the most tantalising donuts and gelato. With loads of unique flavours, they’re always coming up with new and fun flavours to try - you’ll have fun trying to decide which one to get!
The Wayzgoose Diner, Leura
If your sweet tooth needs more than a donut, head to Leura Mall and the Wayzgoose Diner. It's a bright, cheerful little spot in the oldest commercial building in Leura. They're home to the famous Flowerpot scones, served in an actual flowerpot, which is as fun as it sounds. There's also comfort food, good coffee and fluffy pancakes with maple syrup and whipped cream, and it's open seven days a week. For a Pub Meal
The New Ivanhoe in Blackheath offers a great feed with an excellent vibe. A gorgeous art deco pub, I just love how the sun pours into its enclosed sunroom. Cosy fireplaces to warm up by in winter and a beautiful lawn to enjoy the sunshine in summer.

Rustic cafe & Bar which offers a great feed, awesome vibes and live music.

Browse the amazing collections of records, listen to some great tunes or even catch some live music while sipping on cocktails. This place is a VIBE!
For a Fine Feast
High Tea at the Hydro Majestic is simply beautiful. Perched on the escarpment edge overlooking the incredible Megalong Valley below, you feel like you’re dining on top of the world. A truly beautiful experience and the food and wine is divine! (Kicking myself for not having my camera with me this day!)
For energetic kids!
Glenbrook Park, Glenbrook
Awesome playground suitable for all ages. Short stroll to Glenbrook village to check out their beautiful shops and cafes.
Wentworth Falls Lake, Wentworth Falls
There is a brand new park right by the lake, where the kids can burn off some steam and you can take in the serene view of the lake. There is also a lovely walk you can do around the lake.
